Culinary Coach is a concept for a food truck adapted to an autonomous world, designed by Cody Moore. This innovative food truck combines cutting-edge technology with a focus on customer experience, sanitation, and environmental sustainability.

Food trucks have become a popular dining option, but they often lack aesthetic appeal, offer subpar user experiences, and provide less than ideal work environments. Culinary Coach aims to change that by introducing a new solution that goes beyond repurposing existing vehicles. This autonomous food truck offers an entirely new experience for the 21st century.

What sets Culinary Coach apart is its full autonomy in both driving and operation. By incorporating the latest technologies, this food truck streamlines and enhances the overall dining experience. Customers can expect a seamless ordering process, efficient food preparation, and a wide range of customization options.

One of the key features of Culinary Coach is its limited menu, inspired by a unique vending machine technology found in Italy. This machine can create a whole fresh pizza from scratch in just three minutes. By adapting this technology to a food truck and offering a limited menu, Culinary Coach revolutionizes the mobile food industry.

In terms of design, Culinary Coach utilizes a fiberglass exterior to reduce weight and limit the need for extensive tooling. Pre-manufactured parts, such as the base chassis, engine, drivetrain, and wheels, are incorporated to ensure strength and durability. The interior design prioritizes customer comfort and customization, with a full-scale cardboard mockup used to gather user feedback and make necessary improvements.

The entire vehicle, including the chassis, motor, drivetrain, and exterior paneling, was designed using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software. A 3D-printed model was created to provide an accurate representation of the vehicle. The digital model considered every detail, from electric motors and scale batteries to suspension and mountings.

Culinary Coach was developed over a period of three months in Savannah, GA. The design team, consisting of Cody Moore, Jordan Jones, Aditi Vyas, Yulin Liu, Tom Rouine, and Fernando Zeledon, conducted extensive research to ensure compliance with food distribution and cooking regulations, road safety laws, and mobile food station requirements.

This groundbreaking design has been recognized with the prestigious Bronze A' Design Award in the Car and Land Based Motor Vehicles category. The award acknowledges Culinary Coach's outstanding creativity, technical excellence, and contribution to improving quality of life.
